He has a degree in Audiovisual Communication from the Carlos III University of Madrid with residencies at L´Università di Roma Tre and Middlebury College (Bancaja Grant) and a Master degree in Film Direction from ESCAC. He has directed more than 10 short films that have been programmed in more than 400 festivals such as Clermont Ferrand, Gijón International Festival, Malaga Festival, Brest European Film Festival, Manchester International Film Festival and received awards and nominations such as the Meliés fe Plata, the BAFTA and the entry in the KIMUAK catalog with the best Basque shorts of the year. Ane is his first feature film as a director, screenwriter and producer. He is currently filming the ETB series El Alarde and preparing his next feature film while finishing his doctoral thesis within the research group GECA (Gender, Aesthetics and Audiovisual Culture) of the Complutense University, with residencies at the Université Paris IV-Sorbonne (France) and at the EHU / UPV (University of the Basque Country).
