Samuel Alarcón is a filmmaker. In 2006 he received a scholarship from the Royal Academy of Spain in Rome, with which he made his first feature film: La ciudad de los signos (2009), chosen in international festivals around the world. Since 2013 he has directed the radio program 'El cine que viene' in the Spanish National Radio, in which he analyzes independent Ibero-American films and invites their authors as guests. Oscuro y Lucientes (2018), his second feature film, premiered at the Seville European Film Festival. Déjame hablar (2020) is his last work, the result of his collaboration with the Basque composer Luis de Pablo.
